Woody shrub with small
colourful foliage, Duranta is grown commonly in tropical gardens. It is has a small spine due to which it is used as decorative fencing also.

Two major species of Duranta exist: Duranta Plumeri and Duranta Repense. It can be pruned to provide a desirable shape to the plant and can be maintained from 6" height to 6' height in any shape. It is also used liberally while landscaping gardens.
