Nerium is a hardy variety
and one of the most beautiful members from Apocynaceae family. It is salt and drought tolerant and suitable for a wide range of climate.
It requires ample sunlight for more flowering. Native of the Mediterranean region, its shrubs have dark foliage and flowers are borne in bunches terminally. It is used for making colourful flower belts.
It is multiplied by cutting, through seeds and is also cross pollinated. However, its seed bearing is relatively low.
